Update: Windows and MacOSX agents | Couchdrop - Cloud SFTP and MFT

Up until now Couchdrop has worked directly with your cloud storage. However, it has been noted that a hybrid approach is still paramount for large organizations whether it’s a stepping stone towards moving workloads in the cloud, or on-premises is a requirement for security and compliance reasons.

To meet the hybrid approach Couchdrop now supports both Windows and OSX infrastructure through its secure HTTPS agents. Through the use of these agents, you can now:

• Turn your infrastructure into a cloud SFTP server without firewall requirements as Couchdrop acts as your file servers SFTP/FTP gateway
• Automate file transfer to/from your file server and other platforms through Couchdrop’s Automate
• Securely retrieve files direct to your on-premises infrastructure from third parties using Couchdrop’s Inboxes (email and/or web portal)
• Share files from your file servers to partners anywhere through Couchdrop’s secure shared links that can be further secured with password and expiry periods
